Farben Information (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Linux Engineer specializing in Firewall and Security Infrastructure to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Linux-based systems and advanced firewall solutions to protect our enterprise environment.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, deploy, and manage Linux servers (CentOS/RHEL/Ubuntu) with a focus on security hardening and performance optimization.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar) to enforce security policies.
- Implement and manage VPN solutions, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security tools.
- Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and patch management for Linux systems and network devices.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, Ansible) for infrastructure provisioning and security compliance.
- Monitor system logs, network traffic, and security events to detect and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, security procedures, and incident response plans.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- At least 3 years of experience managing firewall platforms (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, pfSense) in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, BGP) and network security concepts.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
- Experience with security tools such as Snort, Suricata, OpenVAS, or Nessus is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, LPIC, CCNA Security, PCNSE) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
