Are you ready to drive meaningful change in the global agricultural supply chain? Cargill is seeking a highly strategic and motivated Senior Manager - Sustainability - Tropical Oils to join our team in Jakarta Raya. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of sustainability strategies that align with our corporate goals while addressing the critical challenges facing the palm and coconut industries.
As a key leader within the Tropical Oils division, you will champion our commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic viability. You will oversee large-scale programs aimed at protecting forests, ensuring human rights, and promoting regenerative agriculture practices. This position requires a visionary leader who can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and translate global sustainability standards into actionable local strategies that create lasting value for Cargill and the communities we serve.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the development and execution of the regional sustainability strategy for palm and coconut operations, ensuring alignment with Cargill’s global ESG priorities.
- Oversee the implementation of the No Deforestation, No Peat, and No Exploitation (NDPE) framework and ensure continuous compliance.
- Manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, local communities, and supplier partners.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify risks and opportunities, driving initiatives that enhance traceability and transparency.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on sustainability performance metrics and KPIs for senior leadership and external auditors.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Procurement, Operations, Legal) to integrate sustainability requirements into business processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in sustainability, supply chain management, or agribusiness, with a focus on tropical oils or commodities.
- Deep understanding of the palm and coconut oil industry, including sustainability challenges, certification schemes (e.g., RSPO), and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
