Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a deep specialization in plastics processing? Hamilton Sundstrand Customer Support Centre is seeking a high-caliber Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Klang. In this role, you will be the technical lead responsible for ensuring manufacturing excellence and stringent quality standards for plastic components.
You will play a pivotal role in driving supplier performance improvement, ensuring that all processes meet our rigorous engineering specifications. A primary focus of this position is the pre-First Article Inspection (FAI) review and approval process, ensuring that new production parts are flawlessly prepared for full-scale manufacturing. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the pre-First Article Inspection (FAI) review and approval process for all new plastic production components.
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to resolve complex technical manufacturing issues.
- Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of components.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff on best practices for plastic injection molding and fabrication.
- Ensure compliance with international safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Polymer Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in manufacturing, specifically within the plastics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of plastic materials, molding processes, and secondary operations.
- Proven track record in FAI (First Article Inspection) procedures and quality engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated aerospace or industrial environment.
