We are hiring for our client, a renowned leader in high-tech automation and semiconductor equipment, a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to spearhead mechanical design initiatives. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of mechanical design, from initial concept and detailed design to prototyping, testing, and production support. You will utilize state-of-the-art CAD tools such as SolidWorks to create intricate 3D models and engineering drawings, and perform structural and thermal analysis using FEA software to validate design performance.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a strong background in automation and precision engineering. You should have deep knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for assembly (DFA)/design for manufacturing (DFM). Experience with semiconductor equipment design, including wafer handling, robotics, and vacuum systems, is highly valued. You will collaborate closely with electrical, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the mechanical design and development of advanced automation equipment for semiconductor applications.
- Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and bill of materials using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity and performance of designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Manage design reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee prototype builds, testing, and validation; troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
- Drive continuous improvement through design optimization, cost reduction, and reliability enhancement.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and client review.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design within automation, semiconductor, or precision engineering industries.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) and FEA tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, etc.).
- Experience with design for assembly (DFA), design for manufacturing (DFM), and tolerance analysis.
- Knowledge of automation components (motors, sensors, pneumatics, robotics) and their integration.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
