In this role, you will play a pivotal part in conceptualizing, designing, and optimizing complex machinery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to ensure our mechanical solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the full lifecycle of machine design projects from conceptualization to final assembly and testing.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks or similar high-end software.
- Perform structural analysis, tolerance studies, and stress simulations to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Select appropriate materials and standard components to optimize cost, weight, and performance.
- Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to manage prototyping and supply chain requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and implement engineering change orders (ECOs) to improve machine functionality.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in mechanical design and technical documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in machine design or industrial automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred, Autodesk Inventor or Creo acceptable).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, material properties, and manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, injection molding).
- Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects within strict timelines.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting mechanical failures.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
