Join 10X Genomics Pte. Ltd. as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and spearhead the mechanical design of cutting-edge biotechnology consumables. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of complex biotech consumables from concept validation to production release
- Develop and validate precision mechanical components using CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and FEA analysis
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and regulatory compliance
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, assembly, and cost-effectiveness without compromising performance
- Conduct rigorous testing, including prototyping, validation, and failure analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design best practices
- Stay current with industry advancements in materials science and microfluidics
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in biotech, medical devices, or precision instruments
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools
- Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and tolerancing
- Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
