Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the mechanical design, analysis, and validation of automated mosquito control systems, ensuring robustness, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Develop detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications for complex mechanical assemblies and components.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to optimize designs for performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage rapid prototyping efforts and execute comprehensive design verification and validation (DV&V) testing processes.
- Collaborate closely with electrical engineers, software engineers, and product managers to seamlessly integrate mechanical designs into holistic system solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, performing root cause analysis for field issues and implementing robust design enhancements.
- Work extensively with external vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure high-quality production and assembly of mechanical components at scale.
- Mentor junior engineers, foster a culture of technical excellence, and contribute to best practices within the team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a closely related technical field.
- 8+ years of industry experience in mechanical design and product development, with a strong focus on automation, robotics, or complex electromechanical systems.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, Creo) and practical experience with FEA tools.
- Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication) and proven application of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in rapid prototyping, comprehensive testing, and validation of hardware products through full product lifecycles.
- Proven ability to take products from initial concept through to successful production, including extensive experience working with contract manufacturers.
- Experience with sensor integration, motor control, and embedded systems in a mechanical engineering context.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive and lead in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary R&D environment.
