Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the mechanical design and engineering of high-rise and complex building projects, ensuring adherence to technical standards and project timelines.
- Develop innovative HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems that prioritize energy efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior engineers and CAD technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines to deliver fully integrated design solutions for mega-developments.
- Review and approve design calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure quality and compliance with statutory regulations (BCA, SS codes, Green Mark).
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities to resolve technical issues, participate in design reviews, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including preparing technical proposals and participating in client interviews for new high-rise projects.
- Champion the use of digital tools (BIM, CFD, energy modeling) to optimize building performance and streamline project delivery.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the design of mechanical building services for high-rise or complex buildings.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects (>30 stories or GFA > 50,000 sqm) in Singapore or Southeast Asia.
- Extensive knowledge of local codes and standards (BCA, SS 553, SS 638, CP 48, NEA regulations).
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit MEP, Navisworks) and load calculation tools (HAP, Trace 700, IESVE).
- Strong project management and client management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Fluency in Mandarin or Malay is an advantage.
