The Role and Your Impact
As a Senior Module Engineer, your primary focus will be on the architecture of assembly processes. You will not only be planning how components come together but also ensuring that every step is optimized for maximum throughput and minimal waste. This role requires a balance of technical prowess in module design and a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles. You will bridge the gap between design concepts and physical production, ensuring that our modules meet the rigorous standards Bosch is known for globally.
You will be working in a state-of-the-art facility, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement Industry 4.0 solutions and Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and optimize end-to-end assembly process flows for complex electronic or mechanical modules.
- Conduct detailed cycle time analysis and line balancing to maximize manufacturing productivity.
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, ensuring technical readiness for mass production.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) feedback.
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles and Bosch Production System (BPS) standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on the production line and drive root-cause analysis for quality deviations.
- Evaluate, source, and commission new manufacturing equipment and automated assembly systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on process improvement projects.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in assembly engineering or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) for layout and fixture design.
- Proven track record in implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green or Black Belt preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent in English with strong technical reporting and presentation capabilities.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
