About the Opportunity: Ascension Advisory is delighted to represent our client, a well-established and rapidly expanding Singapore-based Manufacturing MNC with a regional headquarters and state-of-the-art facility in Kulai, Johor. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior NCT Engineer to join their growing team and play a key role in their continued success.
Your Role: As the Senior NCT Engineer, you will be the technical expert on the shop floor, responsible for overseeing all numerical control technology processes. Your primary focus will be driving operational excellence, optimizing production workflows, and ensuring that output consistently meets the highest quality standards. You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians, coordinate closely with global engineering teams on new product introductions, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. This role demands strong technical acumen and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities Include: Managing daily NCT operations, troubleshooting complex technical issues, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitoring production KPIs, and ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of numerical control technology (NCT) equipment and processes.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians to ensure optimal machine performance and workforce productivity.
- Develop, implement, and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) for testing, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for technical issues, machine downtime, and quality defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (R&D, Quality, Production Planning) to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor production KPIs, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, ISO standards, and company policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on working experience in a manufacturing environment (semiconductor/electronics/automotive industry is highly advantageous).
- Strong technical knowledge of NCT machinery, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and PLC controls.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex engineering projects.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in English is required.
- Must be willing to work in Kulai, Johor.
