Tanggung Jawab
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to improve patient functional independence.
- Provide expert clinical intervention across specialized areas including geriatrics, neurological rehab, orthopedics, and hand therapy.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and medical social workers to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.
- Supervise junior staff and student clinicians, providing clinical mentorship and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Design and fabricate custom splints and assistive devices tailored to specific patient needs.
- Evaluate home environments and recommend home modifications or adaptive equipment to ensure safe discharge and transition.
- Document clinical findings, progress reports, and treatment outcomes accurately within the electronic health record system.
- Participate in department-wide quality improvement projects and clinical research initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore.
- Minimum 3-5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in an acute or community hospital setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical cases with a high degree of autonomy.
- A compassionate approach to patient care, with a commitment to maintaining high clinical standards.
- Willingness to mentor junior staff and contribute to team learning and development.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
