In this critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process design and piping systems engineering for large-scale offshore and marine projects. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design and development of piping systems for complex offshore structures and marine vessels.
- Perform detailed piping stress analysis and calculations to ensure structural integrity and operational compliance.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including piping specifications, material take-offs (MTOs), and isometric drawings.
- Coordinate with process, structural, and electrical departments to ensure seamless design integration.
- Conduct site surveys and provide technical support during the fabrication and installation phases.
- Ensure all designs comply with international codes and standards such as ASME, API, and DNV-GL.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on piping design best practices.
- Manage technical queries from clients and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in piping engineering within the offshore or oil & gas sector.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AVEVA E3D, PDMS, or Caesar II.
- In-depth knowledge of piping materials, valves, fittings, and offshore regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in delivering multi-disciplinary offshore projects from FEED through to detailed engineering.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage complex project timelines.
- Strong analytical mindset with a sharp eye for detail in process design.
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
