Celestica is seeking a Senior Power Test Engineer to join our HPS (Hardware Platform Solutions) team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of DC/DC circuit verification and testing, ensuring the highest standards of hardware reliability for our cutting-edge power solutions.
As a key member of our engineering organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional design teams to validate power conversion architectures, troubleshoot complex circuit issues, and define robust test methodologies. You will utilize advanced testing equipment to push performance boundaries while maintaining Celestica’s reputation for manufacturing excellence and product quality. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for DC/DC power converters and hardware modules.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on circuit verification, including stress testing, thermal performance evaluation, and protection circuitry validation.
- Collaborate with global design teams to define requirements and improve design for testability (DFT).
- Automate test sequences and data collection processes using industry-standard equipment (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, power analyzers).
- Analyze test data to identify failure modes, root causes, and suggest effective corrective design actions.
- Mentor junior engineers on power electronics theory and best practices in circuit verification.
- Ensure compliance with international electrical and safety standards (e.g., IEC, UL, IEEE).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in power supply testing, specifically with DC/DC topologies.
- Strong proficiency in hardware circuit simulation tools (e.g., PSpice, LTspice).
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment including multi-meters, high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, and programmable loads.
- Solid understanding of power component selection, control loops, and signal integrity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a global corporate environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary hardware project team.
