Halliburton’s Wireline and Perforating technology team in Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Senior or Principal R&D Electrical Engineer to join our elite R&D division. You will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge downhole instrumentation and subsea technology that pushes the boundaries of performance and reliability in extreme environments.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design, development, and testing of innovative electrical and electronic systems for wireline and perforating tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver high-performance downhole technology solutions.
- Perform complex electrical simulations and analysis to ensure hardware reliability in high-pressure/high-temperature (HPHT) environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including concept creation, schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype validation.
- Analyze technical failures and implement robust design improvements to enhance equipment longevity.
- Document technical specifications, test plans, and design reviews in accordance with company quality standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (PhD is a plus).
- Minimum 5-10+ years of experience in R&D or product development, preferably in the oil & gas or aerospace sector.
- Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design, embedded systems, and power electronics.
- Proficiency in EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or equivalent.
- Experience in design for high-reliability environments (HPHT, vibration, shock).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
