Join GMP Group, a leader in advanced semiconductor solutions, as a Senior Process Engineer (Etch – Trymax & Axcelis) in our state-of-the-art facility located in Ang Mo Kio. You will be a key technical resource responsible for managing and optimizing etching processes on Trymax and Axcelis platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in driving process capability, achieving yield targets, and ensuring high-quality production output.
In this position, you will conduct engineering experiments, perform statistical analysis, and develop new processes to support technology nodes. You will troubleshoot escalated process issues, coordinate with equipment engineers and vendors to resolve hardware and process problems, and implement corrective actions. You will also create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, optimize, and sustain etch processes on Trymax and Axcelis equipment to meet quality and productivity targets.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Design and execute experiments for process characterization and new process qualifications.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPI) such as yield, defect density, and tool uptime; drive improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including integration, equipment engineering, and manufacturing.
- Create and update process documentation, specifications, and training materials.
- Support technology transfer and ramp-up of new products and processes.
- Mentor and train junior process engineers and technicians.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor etch process engineering, specifically with Trymax and/or Axcelis tools.
- Strong understanding of plasma etch mechanisms, process chemistry, and endpoint detection.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex process issues and drive yield improvement.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and safety standards.
- Experience with process integration and understanding of device physics is a plus.
