Becton Dickinson is currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer (Latex) to join our dynamic team in Kulim, Kedah. In this critical role, you will take ownership of all Materials and Process development activities, ensuring we meet the highest standards of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Quality, and Cost efficiency.
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing latex processing workflows, leading root cause analyses for production issues, and implementing advanced manufacturing techniques. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the end-to-end development and optimization of latex materials and processing techniques to support manufacturing excellence.
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS regulations, ISO standards, and Quality Management Systems (QMS) across all process development activities.
- Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to reduce material waste, lower production costs, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding R&D, Quality Assurance, and Productionâto troubleshoot complex manufacturing bottlenecks.
- Conduct rigorous failure analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process deviations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process validation reports, and design specifications.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and simulation tools to predict process behavior and ensure product consistency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in process engineering, with a specific focus on latex or rubber processing in the medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
- Deep understanding of polymer chemistry, latex compounding, and curing processes.
- Strong knowledge of Quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, and APQP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously and lead technical projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering simulation software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
