We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Process & Equipment Engineer specializing in Backend/Labeling Engineering to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak.
In this critical role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our backend manufacturing processes, with a specific focus on labeling engineering. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our process and equipment, from preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to process optimization and continuous improvement. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the maintenance, debugging, and troubleshooting of backend process and labeling equipment to ensure high uptime and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement robust process control strategies, including conducting Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) studies to validate measurement systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for process and equipment operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on process optimization, yield enhancement, and cost reduction within the backend and labeling areas.
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring smooth integration of new processes and equipment into production.
- Analyze process data and equipment performance metrics to identify root causes of issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality, to resolve technical challenges and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and production technicians on equipment operation and process troubleshooting.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in process engineering, equipment engineering, or a similar role within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in semiconductor or electronics backend operations.
- Proven expertise in backend manufacturing processes, including specific experience with labeling systems and associated equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
- Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
