Coherent is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Process & Equipment Engineer to join our Backend/Labeling Engineering team in Ipoh. In this pivotal role, you will be the technical backbone of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our backend and labeling processes run with maximum efficiency and precision.
As a Senior Engineer, you will lead the charge in machine troubleshooting, process optimization, and complex technical debugging. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement rigorous Gage R&R studies, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and optimize backend manufacturing processes and labeling equipment performance to ensure high production throughput.
- Lead complex machine troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis (RCA) to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies to ensure measurement system integrity.
- Develop, update, and manage critical technical documentation, including SOPs and machine maintenance manuals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive continuous improvement and yield enhancement initiatives.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and technicians regarding equipment calibration and process control.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards during all process modifications.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in process or equipment engineering, preferably within a semiconductor or high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in backend process equipment (specifically labeling/marking systems).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of Gage R&R, SPC, and FMEA methodologies.
- Experience in software debugging and logic controller troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and projects.
