Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the product lifecycle management from design transfer to mass production transition.
- Analyze technical data to identify and resolve root causes of manufacturing yield issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D and process teams to implement design-for-manufacturing (DFM) improvements.
- Manage engineering change orders (ECO) and ensure documentation compliance throughout the product development process.
- Conduct product characterization and reliability testing to ensure performance standards are met.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce production costs and optimize cycle times.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on site.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Photonics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in product or process engineering within a high-tech manufacturing environment (semiconductors or photonics preferred).
- Proven proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and statistical analysis tools (Minitab/JMP).
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001/IATF 16949).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including experience with 8D or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Effective communication skills in English and Malay, with the ability to work in a collaborative global team setting.
- Strong knowledge of optoelectronic components or laser manufacturing processes is highly advantageous.
