As a Japanese-speaking specialist, you'll bridge communication gaps between global headquarters and Asian markets, ensuring seamless regulatory alignment. The role requires proactive engagement with regulatory bodies, documentation preparation, and incident response coordination. You'll leverage your technical knowledge to develop robust safety frameworks while contributing to BASF's commitment to sustainable and responsible manufacturing practices.
Tanggung Jawab
- Ensure compliance with global and regional product safety regulations (REACH, GHS, etc.)
- Develop and implement product stewardship programs for chemical portfolios
- Conduct risk assessments and safety evaluations for new/existing products
- Provide regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Prepare and submit regulatory documentation (SDS, notifications, etc.)
- Investigate and resolve product safety incidents with root cause analysis
- Collaborate with global teams to harmonize safety standards across regions
- Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory landscapes in key Asian markets
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in product safety/regulatory affairs
- Native-level Japanese fluency with professional English proficiency
- Strong knowledge of chemical safety regulations (REACH, CLP, GHS)
- Experience with product lifecycle management and risk assessment methodologies
- Proven ability to manage regulatory documentation and compliance workflows
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global teams
