Are you an experienced Production Engineer with a deep expertise in metal stamping processes? We are currently partnering with a prestigious, well-established Singaporean Manufacturing MNC to recruit a Senior Production Engineer for their facility in Kulai, Johor.
In this pivotal role, you will lead production efficiency, optimize stamping operations, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and optimize the daily stamping production line to ensure targets are met within budget and schedule.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce wastage, improve cycle times, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to stamping presses, dies, and auxiliary equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance and Maintenance, to ensure seamless production workflows.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Analyze production data and generate detailed performance reports for management review.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and production technicians.
- Ensure compliance with all local manufacturing regulations and ISO quality management systems.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a high-volume metal stamping manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of stamping machinery, tool and die maintenance, and metal forming processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for tooling analysis and process design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced MNC environment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English and Malay to facilitate team coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing international team.
