Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
As the Senior Production Engineer for the Stamping department, you will be the technical expert and process leader. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of productivity, quality, and safety. Your day-to-day will involve deep-diving into process parameters, analyzing production data, and leading cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges. You will take ownership of the entire stamping process, from die design reviews and tryouts to full-scale production. A critical aspect of this role is driving continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap rates. You will also play a key role in developing and mentoring junior engineers and technicians, ensuring knowledge transfer and team growth. Budget management, project planning, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management will also fall under your purview. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and optimize daily stamping production operations to meet output and quality targets.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot stamping process issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Manage tooling and die maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal performance and lifespan of critical equipment.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain strict adherence to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific quality standards.
- Mentor and train production technicians and operators on best practices, new processes, and safety protocols.
- Lead New Product Introductions (NPI), providing engineering support for design reviews, prototyping, and smooth ramp-up.
- Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and project updates to senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the manufacturing field, specializing in metal stamping processes.
- Strong knowledge of progressive die design, tooling fabrication, and press maintenance (hydraulic and mechanical).
- Proficient in process optimization tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, DOE, Root Cause Analysis).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Strong leadership and communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a distinct advantage).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced MNC environment.
