Join the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) as a Senior Professional Officer in UX/UI Design and take the lead in spearheading translational Research & Development (R&D) and design innovation. In this pivotal role, you will drive the creation of user-centred solutions for a diverse ecosystem of industry partners, academic institutions, and government bodies.
You will be instrumental in defining the visual and interactive identity of SIT's digital products, ensuring that complex technical concepts are translated into intuitive, engaging, and accessible user experiences. Your expertise will not only elevate the standard of design within the organization but also directly impact the success of key industry projects and academic initiatives.
Tanggung Jawab
- Spearhead the end-to-end UX/UI design process for industry and academic projects, ensuring user-centricity and innovative design solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to validate design hypotheses and improve user satisfaction.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools like Figma and Adobe XD.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and subject matter experts, to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive design systems to ensure visual consistency and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall capability of the design team.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in the UX/UI field.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably within the education, R&D, or public sector.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of design principles, information architecture, and visual hierarchy.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and prototyping software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex design decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive web design best practices.
- Proven experience in leading design projects from concept to delivery.
