Lumut Maritime Terminal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Civil Engineer specializing in Dredging and Marine Civil Works. Based in Sitiawan, Perak, this role is critical to the operational success of our maritime infrastructure. You will act as the primary technical lead, overseeing the lifecycle of complex dredging projects from initial planning through to final inspection and execution reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all marine construction activities adhere to strict safety, environmental, and engineering standards. You will coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project delivery is on time, within budget, and compliant with international maritime regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the planning and scheduling of large-scale dredging and marine civil engineering projects.
- Supervise on-site operations to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor and report on dredging progress, including volume calculations and vessel performance metrics.
- Conduct regular inspections of marine works and infrastructure to ensure structural integrity.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, and project partners.
- Manage the execution of site-specific dredging plans, addressing technical challenges and mitigating operational risks.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, progress updates, and budget forecasts for senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in dredging operations and maritime infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of local and international maritime regulations and environmental compliance.
- Proven ability to interpret hydrographic charts, bathymetric data, and geotechnical reports.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or specialized dredging software).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) status or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
