Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to secure high-quality materials and services at optimal costs.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including supplier identification, negotiation, contracting, and performance evaluation.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate potential disruptions.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (Production, Quality, Engineering) to understand their requirements and align purchasing activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the procurement function to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and relevant regulations.
- Mentor and guide junior team members within the purchasing department.
Kualifikasi
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of achieving cost savings.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in a local or international manufacturing plant environment is highly preferred.
