In this role, you will be the backbone of our direct material sourcing strategy, ensuring that our manufacturing processes run seamlessly while optimizing costs and maintaining our high standards of quality.
As a key member of the purchasing team, you will manage end-to-end sourcing activities, build strong partnerships with global suppliers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for direct materials, ensuring timely delivery and supply continuity.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost-saving targets without compromising on quality.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning to prevent stockouts and minimize carrying costs.
- Maintain compliance with company procurement policies, ethical standards, and ISO regulatory requirements.
- Analyze market trends and supplier data to identify potential risks and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Engineering, and Quality teams to support new product development and material qualification.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in direct material procurement within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain logistics, contract management, and vendor management best practices.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and develop strategic procurement solutions.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Malay.
