Based in the thriving industrial hub of Seberang Jaya, Penang, you will be the champion of quality, driving strategic initiatives that ensure our products not only meet but consistently exceed global standards. As our CQE Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of quality professionals, acting as the primary interface between our valued customers and internal operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the Customer Quality Engineering (CQE) team, providing mentorship and strategic direction to achieve departmental goals.
- Serve as the primary contact for all customer quality issues, driving effective 8D problem-solving processes and ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Oversee the APQP and PPAP processes for new product introductions, ensuring robust quality planning from concept to launch.
- Conduct and manage internal, supplier, and customer audits, driving corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as PPM, DPPM, yield rates, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), reporting progress to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodologies to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to resolve in-process quality deviations and prevent recurrence.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification from ASQ or equivalent recognized body is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of quality core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plans.
- Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC). Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to lead cross-cultural teams and manage critical customer relationships effectively.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor, electronics, or automotive quality standards.
