To support our continued growth and commitment to perfection, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Central Seberang Perai, Penang.
As a key member of our Quality team, you will play a critical role in driving zero-defect initiatives and ensuring our advanced speaker systems, amplifiers, and audio electronics exceed rigorous quality and reliability standards. You will lead the charge in implementing robust quality systems aligned with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements, from new product introduction through to mass production. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process for New Product Introductions (NPI) to ensure flawless launch execution.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) using 8D, Fishbone, FMEA, and other structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Oversee and optimize Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) to ensure strict compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency across the manufacturing value stream.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues, improve product reliability, and exceed customer expectations.
- Lead internal quality system audits and facilitate external audits from customers and third-party certification bodies (e.g., VDA 6.3).
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including PPM, scrap rates, and customer complaints, presenting actionable insights to senior management.
- Mentor, coach, and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians, fostering a strong culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment; Automotive or Audio/Electronics industry is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding and practical application of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and VDA 6.3 standards along with core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or Lead Auditor are strongly desired.
- Proven track record of leading successful Continuous Improvement projects and implementing robust CAPA systems that deliver measurable results.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and a data-driven mindset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Quality Management Software (e.g., SAP QM, Minitab, or similar QMS platforms).
