At our Ipoh facility in Perak, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer specializing in ESD control and calibration to strengthen our quality assurance team.
In this senior role, you will take ownership of the Calibration and ESD programs, ensuring all measurement equipment and ESD control measures comply with industry standards (e.g., ANSI/ESD S20.20, ISO/IEC 17025). You will oversee the schedule, execution, and documentation of calibration activities for test equipment, fixtures, and tools. Additionally, you will manage and monitor the ESD control program, including audits, training, and improvement projects to protect sensitive components from electrostatic damage.
You will also be responsible for environmental monitoring systems and the preventative maintenance of quality assurance equipment, ensuring they meet accuracy and reliability standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any non-conformities related to these systems. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Calibration Program for all measurement and test equipment in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant standards.
- Manage the ESD Control Program, including conducting periodic audits, training personnel, and verifying compliance with ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements.
- Oversee environmental monitoring systems (temperature, humidity, cleanliness) to ensure controlled manufacturing conditions.
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance (PM) for Quality Assurance equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Lead investigations of non-conformities related to calibration, ESD, and equipment, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records related to ESD, calibration, and equipment.
- Support internal and external audits, acting as a technical expert for ESD and calibration domains.
- Provide training and guidance to technicians and operators on proper calibration, ESD handling, and equipment usage.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Certified ESD Program Manager or equivalent training (e.g., from ESD Association) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of calibration principles and practices, including experience with calibration management software.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, or other quality management standards.
- Proven experience with ESD control programs and knowledge of ANSI/ESD S20.20 standard.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in root cause analysis tools (8D, Fishbone, FMEA).
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
