We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing) to join our client, a globally recognized leader in electronics manufacturing. Our client specializes in the design and production of high-reliability connectors and interconnect solutions that power the automotive, medical, and data communication industries. As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will be the guardian of our product integrity. You will lead complex quality assurance initiatives, oversee the implementation of rigorous quality control systems, and ensure strict adherence to international standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including R&D, production, and supply chain—to identify potential risks, drive root cause analysis for manufacturing defects, and implement sustainable corrective actions. Your expertise will be instrumental in reducing scrap rates, improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the quality control process to ensure compliance with ISO, IATF 16949, and other relevant industry standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on production defects and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Oversee incoming material inspections, in-process quality checks, and final product verification.
- Drive Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, improve yield, and optimize production workflows.
- Mentor and train junior quality engineers and manufacturing staff on best practices and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to define quality specifications for new product introductions (NPI).
- Manage non-conformance reporting (NCR) and perform regular supplier quality audits.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within the electronics manufacturing or automotive sector.
- Strong understanding of automotive quality standards and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma methodologies, and root cause analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and quality management software.
- Valid Singapore Work Pass and willingness to travel for training or site visits.
