Are you ready to shape the future of intelligent robotics? Join the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) as a Senior Research Engineer in our Autonomous Systems & Robotics division. We are seeking a visionary engineer to drive innovation in Embodied AI and Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC). In this role, you will develop cutting-edge algorithms that enable robots to perceive, understand, and interact safely with humans in complex environments.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design and implement advanced algorithms for Embodied AI, perception, and decision-making in robotic systems.
- Develop safe and efficient Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC) frameworks to enhance human-robot interaction.
- Conduct rigorous testing, simulation, and validation of robotic prototypes in controlled and dynamic environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists to integrate AI models into physical platforms.
- Document research methodologies, contribute to technical reports, and publish findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor junior researchers to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
Kualifikasi
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
- Deep understanding of machine learning, computer vision, control theory, and sensor fusion.
- Proven experience with robotics middleware (ROS/ROS2) and simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, Isaac Sim).
- Track record of research publication and technical problem-solving in the field of autonomous systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative R&D environment.
