Join A*STAR's Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) as a Senior Research Engineer in the Digital Manufacturing Division (DMD) and Computational Process Planning & Simulation (CPPS) Group. You'll lead groundbreaking R&D initiatives focused on predictive shopfloor analytics, driving innovation in industrial manufacturing intelligence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to architect and deploy cutting-edge solutions using C#, Python, Angular, and DevOps technologies. - Design and implement predictive analytics models for industrial shopfloor operations using C# and Python
- Develop Angular-based web applications for data visualization and real-time monitoring dashboards
- Integrate DevOps pipelines for continuous deployment and monitoring of research solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating industrial requirements into scalable software architectures
- Conduct advanced research in machine learning algorithms for predictive maintenance and process optimization
- Document research methodologies, system architectures, and implementation guidelines
- Collaborate with industry partners to validate and deploy analytics solutions in manufacturing environments
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's or PhD preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with C# and Python
- Expertise in Angular and front-end frameworks for building responsive industrial applications
- Strong background in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Proven experience in developing predictive analytics or machine learning solutions
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industrial IoT standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative research environments
- Prior experience with A*STAR or similar research institutions advantageous
