The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) invites applications for a Senior Research Engineer I/II to join the Institute of Microelectronics (IME). Tanggung Jawab
- Lead fab layout planning and optimization for semiconductor manufacturing and research lines.
- Manage equipment relocation projects including scheduling, logistics, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination.
- Collaborate with process and facilities engineers to design efficient and scalable cleanroom layouts.
- Conduct capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, and simulation modeling to improve throughput.
- Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational excellence.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional teams in facility expansion and technology transfer initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Kualifikasi
- PhD or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor fab layout, industrial engineering, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of cleanroom design, equipment hook-up, and fab automation systems.
- Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., AutoMod, Simio, FlexSim) and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated experience in managing relocation projects and cross-functional coordination.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in semiconductor environments.
