As a pivotal member of our dynamic research group within the College of Computing and Data Science, you will design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art large-scale multimodal models that push the boundaries of what AI can achieve. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design and implementation of novel large multimodal model architectures for vision, language, and audio.
- Conduct high-impact research in generative AI, including developing new methods for text-to-image/video generation and multimodal reasoning.
- Develop and optimize large-scale distributed training pipelines using frameworks such as PyTorch, DeepSpeed, and Megatron-LM.
- Publish research findings in top-tier international journals and conferences, enhancing NTU's global research profile.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate multimodal AI models into practical applications and platforms.
- Mentor and supervise junior research engineers, research assistants, and PhD students on their projects.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML literature and identify promising new research opportunities.
- Contribute to grant writing, project reporting, and building the lab's technical infrastructure.
Kualifikasi
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of post-PhD research experience in a university or top-tier industrial AI lab.
- Strong publication record in leading AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ACL, ECCV).
- Expert proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch.
- Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, self-supervised learning, and multimodal representation learning.
- Experience with large-scale model training, fine-tuning, and deployment (LLM/VLM serving, quantization, pruning).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated track record of driving complex projects independently and delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
