Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and execute complex R&D projects focused on advanced metal forming processes, including stamping, forging, and incremental forming.
- Develop and implement innovative simulation models using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to optimize manufacturing parameters.
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify technical challenges and provide high-value engineering solutions and consultancy.
- Design and conduct experimental validations to correlate numerical models with physical prototypes.
- Stay abreast of global manufacturing trends and integrate emerging technologies like Industry 4.0 and AI into metal forming workflows.
- Prepare technical reports, patents, and high-quality publications for international conferences and journals.
- Mentor junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Kualifikasi
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in metal forming research or advanced industrial manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as Abaqus, Autoform, Forge, or LS-DYNA.
- Strong background in metallurgy, material characterization, and mechanical testing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage research projects from conception to industrial deployment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A track record of technical publications or patents in the field of metal processing.
