The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Engineer to join our elite team specializing in PECVD (Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) modules. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, characterize, and optimize PECVD processes for advanced semiconductor packaging and photonic applications.
- Design and execute experiments to improve thin-film properties, including stress control, stoichiometry, and uniformity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PECVD films into complex device architectures.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PECVD reactor modules, ensuring high uptime and process repeatability.
- Analyze metrology data to identify trends and implement process improvements through statistical process control (SPC).
- Document research findings, author technical reports, and present progress to internal stakeholders and industrial partners.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers on equipment operation and best practices in vacuum and plasma physics.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s or PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in thin-film deposition, specifically PECVD, within an R&D or fab environment.
- Strong fundamental understanding of plasma physics, gas phase chemistry, and semiconductor device manufacturing.
- Proficiency with analytical techniques such as SEM, TEM, XPS, Ellipsometry, and FTIR.
- Proven track record of managing complex technical projects and meeting project milestones.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in JMP, Minitab, or Python for data analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, collaborative team environment.
