Join the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) as a Senior Scientist in the Digital Manufacturing Division (DMD) / Cyber-Physical Production Systems (CPPS) Group at SIMTech. - Lead R&D projects in AI/ML for smart manufacturing, focusing on process monitoring, quality prediction, and reconfigurable systems
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms for real-time monitoring and anomaly detection in manufacturing processes
- Develop models for predictive quality and process optimization using sensor data and IoT
- Innovate in reconfigurable manufacturing systems, enabling rapid adaptation to changing production demands
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing manufacturing workflows
- Publish research findings in top-tier journals and conference proceedings
- Mentor and supervise junior researchers and interns
- Engage with industry partners to understand challenges and drive technology transfer
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics
- Experience in smart manufacturing, process monitoring, or quality control is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Proven track record of publications in top venues (e.g., ICML, NeurIPS, IEEE Transactions)
- Knowledge of reconfigurable manufacturing systems and Industry 4.0 concepts
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members
