We are seeking a dynamic and innovative (Senior) Scientist to join the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). In this pivotal role, you will spearhead advanced laser material processing R&D, driving innovation in surface texturing and micromachining technologies. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead research and development projects focused on advanced laser material processing and surface remanufacturing technologies.
- Design and conduct experiments to optimize laser texturing parameters for various industrial substrates.
- Analyze surface morphology and material properties using advanced characterization techniques.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to transfer technologies and develop commercial applications.
- Prepare technical reports, patents, and publications for scientific dissemination.
- Supervise junior researchers and provide technical guidance within the laboratory.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in laser processing, surface engineering, or micromachining.
- Strong background in experimental design and data analysis.
- Track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals or presenting at international conferences.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
