Join Satellite Office as a Senior Security Analyst!
Satellite Office, a premier provider of global staffing solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Security Analyst (Cyber Security) with specialized expertise in Linux environments to join our expanding team in the Philippines. This is a critical, hands-on role designed for a seasoned security professional who is ready to take ownership of our clients' cyber defense strategies and mature their security posture.
Based in our Ortigas, Metro Manila office, you will work the night shift, collaborating directly with international teams to provide 24/7 security coverage. You will serve as the frontline defender, leveraging your deep knowledge of Linux system administration, security frameworks, and threat intelligence to protect critical digital assets against sophisticated cyber attacks. Your responsibilities will range from hardening Linux servers to leading complex incident response investigations and implementing proactive security measures.
In this role, you will be instrumental in maturing our Security Operations Center (SOC). You will manage advanced security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS), perform proactive threat hunting, and drive comprehensive vulnerability management programs. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor, detect, and respond to advanced cyber threats across the organization's network and Linux infrastructure.
- Conduct in-depth security incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement proactive remediation strategies.
- Manage and configure security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, vulnerability scanners) with a strong focus on hardening Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Develop, review, and enforce security policies, standard operating procedures, and incident response playbooks.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle and cloud environments.
- Lead security awareness training initiatives and provide expert mentorship to junior team members on Linux security hardening and secure configurations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a dedicated cyber security role with proven, demonstrable expertise in Linux server security and administration.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S), firewall technologies, VPNs, and data encryption standards.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) and EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Carbon Black).
- Advanced proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Perl to streamline security operations and automate tasks.
- Relevant industry certifications strongly preferred: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, or OSCP.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and effectively in a night shift, onsite environment.
- Strong understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and demonstrated experience in applying threat intelligence for proactive defense.
