Join JLL as a Senior Shift Facility Engineer at our state-of-the-art data center facility in Sedenak, Johor. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a world-class team managing critical infrastructure for one of Southeast Asia's premier data center operations.
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the senior technical lead during your assigned shift, ensuring the continuous, reliable, and efficient operation of all data center mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. You will play a crucial role in maintaining 99.999% uptime for our high-density computing environment while adhering to strict safety protocols and industry best practices.
You will handle complex service requests, coordinate both preventive and reactive maintenance programs, and provide technical expertise for minor infrastructure projects. Your leadership will guide junior technicians, foster a culture of safety excellence, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead shift operations for all data center MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, generators, UPS systems, and fire protection
- Coordinate and execute preventive and reactive maintenance programs for critical infrastructure equipment
- Respond to and resolve complex facility service requests and emergency situations within defined SLAs
- Manage minor infrastructure upgrade projects including scope definition, contractor supervision, and quality assurance
- Monitor building management systems (BMS) and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools for optimal performance
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior facility technicians to maintain high team competency levels
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs, incident reports, and operational documentation
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations and maintenance
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, generators, UPS, and fire suppression systems
- Proven experience with building management systems (BMS) and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) platforms
- Strong understanding of industry standards including ANSI/TIA-942, ISO 50001, and NEMA regulations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating operational risks
- Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay is advantageous
- Willingness to work rotational shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
