Paradigm Precision Components is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Sourcing Executive / Senior Buyer to join our procurement team in Perai, Penang. This role is essential for driving efficiency within our supply chain, focusing on high-quality component sourcing and cost-effective procurement strategies that align with our manufacturing excellence.
As a key member of the supply chain department, you will oversee the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle—from identifying reliable global suppliers to managing complex RFQ negotiations. You will play a critical role in supporting New Product Development (NPD), ensuring that materials and services meet our rigorous technical specifications and timelines. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of commercial acumen and technical understanding, enabling them to foster strong supplier partnerships while optimizing total cost of ownership.

- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities and supplier selection processes to ensure business continuity.
- Manage and execute the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, performing detailed cost analysis and comparisons.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with local and international suppliers.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) projects by sourcing specialized components and managing prototype timelines.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on quality, lead time, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to understand technical requirements and material specifications.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation within the ERP system.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and precision component sourcing is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to communicate in local languages is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
