Are you an expert in aerospace manufacturing processes? Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Special Process Engineer to join our client's team in the Central Region. In this critical role, you will be the subject matter expert responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and optimizing complex special processes that are vital to aircraft safety and performance.
The successful candidate will manage critical process procedures including heat treatment, surface treatment, advanced coatings, welding, and brazing operations. You will ensure full compliance with aerospace quality standards (such as AS9100 or NADCAP) and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product integrity. This is a unique opportunity to lead technical efforts in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, maintain, and audit special process procedures including heat treatment, surface treatment, and specialized coatings.
- Provide technical oversight for welding and brazing operations to ensure adherence to aerospace engineering specifications.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for process-related non-conformances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to qualify new processes and support production ramp-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with international aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP, AMS specifications).
- Optimize process parameters to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and ensure consistent product quality.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on special process requirements and safety protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in managing special processes such as heat treatment, plating, anodizing, or aerospace welding.
- Deep understanding of NADCAP requirements and relevant aerospace quality management systems.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical process control (SPC) and failure analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with clients, auditors, and shop-floor technicians.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects under strict deadlines.
