Join Atos as a Senior Splunk Observability Engineer and take the lead in ensuring end-to-end observability of logs, metrics, and traces across our critical systems. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust monitoring solutions that provide a holistic view of application performance and system health. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify and resolve issues proactively, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
Your expertise in Splunk and observability best practices will be instrumental in enhancing our monitoring capabilities, reducing mean time to detection (MTTD), and minimizing mean time to resolution (MTTR). Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and maintain Splunk-based observability solutions for logs, metrics, and traces
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate observability practices into the software development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide actionable insights into system performance
- Investigate and resolve complex system issues using observability data
- Continuously improve observability practices and tools to enhance monitoring capabilities
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on observability best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in observability and monitoring technologies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or a similar role
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk and Splunk Observability Cloud
- Strong knowledge of observability principles, including logs, metrics, and traces
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
