Are you an experienced SWIFT Engineer with a deep understanding of the Monetary Authority of Singapore's MEPS+ infrastructure? The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our critical payments ecosystem. In this contract position, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of SWIFT-related systems, ensuring seamless connectivity with financial institutions and regulatory bodies.
As a Senior SWIFT Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system resilience, troubleshoot complex network issues, and implement industry best practices for financial messaging. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Singapore's financial stability, contributing directly to the modernization of the nation's payment infrastructure and ensuring secure, efficient cross-border transactions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and maintain robust SWIFT network connectivity and financial messaging solutions.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex SWIFT infrastructure issues and service interruptions.
- Ensure strict compliance with SWIFT standards, ISO 20022 messaging formats, and MAS regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize MEPS+ and SWIFT network performance and reliability.
- Oversee security protocols to protect sensitive payment data and prevent potential fraud or unauthorized access.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to junior engineering team members.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a SWIFT Engineer or similar role within the financial sector.
- Deep technical knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards (MT103/202) and the transition to ISO 20022.
- Strong experience working with MEPS+ (Multi-Payment Switching and Transfer Plus) infrastructure and core banking systems.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and firewall configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Relevant SWIFT certifications are highly preferred.
