Nanyang Tech is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic IT operations team in Singapore, East Region. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our information systems that support core organizational functions.
In this role, you will provide daily IT infrastructure and operations support covering systems software, networks, servers, and end-user terminals. You will be involved in managing and resolving IT incidents through the IT Helpdesk, performing system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks. Your expertise will contribute to the optimization of our IT environment, ensuring high availability and security.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage day-to-day IT infrastructure including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
- Provide tier 2/3 support for escalated incidents and service requests via IT Helpdesk.
- Implement system upgrades, patches, and configurations to maintain security and performance.
- Monitor system health, perform regular backups, and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
- Manage virtualization platforms and cloud services (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, AWS/Azure).
- Automate routine tasks using scripting tools to improve efficiency.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to evaluate and deploy new technologies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Vast experience in a similar role as a Systems Engineer or IT Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and incident management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, RHCE, or VCP are preferred.
