SBS Transit is currently seeking a skilled Senior Technician or Technician to join our LRT Power team in Sengkang. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the electrical infrastructure that keeps our Light Rail Transit systems running safely and efficiently for thousands of daily commuters.
As part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of high-voltage systems, power distribution networks, and auxiliary equipment. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on LRT power traction and distribution systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in substations and associated power equipment.
- Execute corrective maintenance activities to ensure minimal service disruption.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of power supply components, including transformers and switchgear.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and technical documentation in compliance with safety standards.
- Support engineering projects, system upgrades, and testing & commissioning activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and power-related incidents.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and standard operating procedures.
Kualifikasi
- ITE Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in power distribution, industrial electrical maintenance, or rail systems is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in reading electrical single-line diagrams and technical schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for technical detail.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
- Good physical health and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- Valid Class 3 driving license is a plus.
- Fresh graduates with a strong aptitude for electrical work are encouraged to apply.
