Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design, integration, and commissioning of telecommunication systems (VSAT, VoIP, UHF/VHF, PAGA, and CCTV) for marine vessels and offshore platforms.
- Supervise technical subcontractors and onsite teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and international maritime standards.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including system block diagrams, cable schedules, and operational manuals.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for critical communication networks.
- Liaise with clients, classification societies, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met within strict timelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and safety awareness.
- Monitor and manage system integration risks, ensuring seamless connectivity in diverse offshore environments.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in telecommunications systems, preferably within the marine, offshore, or oil & gas industry.
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining offshore communication infrastructures and networking protocols (LAN/WAN).
- Strong knowledge of IMO/SOLAS maritime regulations and classification society requirements.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of handling multiple complex engineering workstreams.
- Ability to work effectively in a shipyard environment and willingness to travel or attend offshore sea trials if required.
- Professional certification in relevant networking or telecom disciplines (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
