Are you an experienced Test Engineer looking to advance your career with a leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider? GBM Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our production team in Chemor, Perak. In this pivotal role, you will be the technical lead for New Product Introduction (NPI) testing, ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest quality standards while optimizing production throughput.
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will bridge the gap between design and mass production. You will be responsible for developing test strategies, debugging complex hardware/software failures, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of PCBA testing, functional testing protocols, and a proactive mindset toward troubleshooting.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead NPI (New Product Introduction) test development and deployment to ensure seamless production readiness.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex electronic hardware, software, and test fixture failures during mass production.
- Analyze test data to identify trends, implement root cause analysis (RCA), and drive corrective actions.
- Optimize test cycle times to improve overall production yield and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide Design for Testability (DFT) feedback on new products.
- Maintain and update test equipment, software scripts, and technical documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on production testing methodologies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in test engineering within an EMS or high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in PCBA testing, ICT (In-Circuit Testing), and FCT (Functional Testing).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or LabVIEW.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical failures.
- Familiarity with industry-standard test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Signal Generators).
- Strong communication skills in English and Malay; ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
