We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Test Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding engineering team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be the technical lead responsible for ensuring the operational excellence of our test equipment and manufacturing machinery. You will bridge the gap between station owners, suppliers, and our production floor, formulating robust maintenance strategies that minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of automated test equipment (ATE) and industrial maintenance protocols. You will be expected to lead complex troubleshooting efforts, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor junior staff to ensure the highest standards of hardware reliability and performance.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance schedules for new and existing test equipment.
- Collaborate with station owners and external suppliers to define maintenance requirements and equipment optimization plans.
- Execute advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve recurring technical hardware and software issues.
- Lead equipment installation, qualification, and calibration processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and reduce equipment downtime.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for timely technical support and equipment upgrades.
- Provide technical leadership and training to maintenance technicians to improve site-wide engineering competency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in test engineering or equipment maintenance within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in ATE (Automated Test Equipment) systems and industrial control systems (PLC/SCADA).
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting electronic circuits, sensors, and pneumatic/mechanical systems.
- Experience with data analysis tools and maintenance management software (CMMS).
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external global suppliers.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced production environments.
