Join Huawei Technologies as a Senior Transmission Engineer in Sarawak and play a pivotal role in maintaining our advanced optical transmission network infrastructure. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems through proactive fault management and preventive maintenance strategies.
As a key member of our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) team, you will work within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to minimize network downtime and ensure seamless connectivity for our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing complex network issues, implementing effective solutions, and continuously improving network performance to meet the growing demands of our digital ecosystem.

- Manage and resolve faults in DWDM transmission network elements within defined SLAs
- Implement preventive maintenance strategies to ensure network reliability and performance
- Monitor network performance metrics and identify potential issues before they impact service
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex network problems
- Document network incidents, maintenance activities, and technical procedures
- Stay updated with the latest transmission technologies and industry best practices
- Contribute to network optimization and capacity planning initiatives
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transmission network engineering
- Expert knowledge of DWDM systems and optical transmission technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network fault management systems
- Familiarity with SLA management and network performance metrics
- Certification in relevant networking technologies (e.g., Huawei HCIP, CCNP)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
